Exhibition catalog and corporate design for DIE GROSSE Kunstausstellung NRW Düsseldorf 2016. The black-and-white photographs of award winner Benjamin Katz formed the visual basis for the design of »DIE GROSSE 2016«. The portraits of Joseph Beuys, Gerhard Richter and Markus Lüpertz, which have a very personal character, are part of the extensive archive in the artist’s studio. This archival feel, with labeled cardboard boxes stacked on ceiling-high shelves, provides the inspiration for the typographic design.
