Nextra is a geometrically constructed grotesque typeface with the Humanist touch of the writing tool. The contrasting but balanced rhythm between straight and round forms gives it its special character. Nextra consists of the sister families Display and Text, each comprising the three weights Light, Regular and Bold and their italics. Nextra Display has a stronger variation in form and a higher degree of boldness in individual letterforms, whereas Nextra Text gets rid of these and contains alternative bay letter variants for better legibility in small font sizes.
